Oh, how I adore Easy Going by Sinful Colors! This color was one that had caught my eye many times, and I am so happy that I picked it up! Easy Going is a very pale pink shade. I wanted something simple for Easter that would be easy to match with my clothes, and decided on this.
The application was a bit streaky, but it did settle nicely so I didn’t have a problem with it after it dried. This is two coats and in the shade.
Here it is with a little more sunlight. Isn’t it pretty? Well worth the $2, that’s for sure!
In other news, I finally signed up for Julep since I could not resist the boxes being just a penny. I actually considered this back in the fall when the $5 boxes were available, but a penny is even better! Also, I had not stopped biting my nails then either, so it wasn’t too high on my list of beauty interests. Here’s how to get the penny box:
1. Visit Julep.*
2. Take the style quiz and add your box to the cart.
3. Enter the code APRILINTRO or PENNY (Penny *should* still work but I am not positive; that’s what I used).
4. Proceed to the checkout and you will see your total as 0.01, but it might show up as a couple dollars before choosing the free shipping option. I was only charged one cent when all was said and done.
Now, the thing to note is that you can cancel at any time. If you don’t cancel, you need to SKIP the month to avoid being charged. According to Julep, “The window to skip your Maven Box is between 9am on the 20th and 11:59 pm on the 24th of every month.”
This is a semi-risk, BUT I did sign up for JewelMint in the same way to get a really amazing ring and then I just canceled my account after, so it was without risk.
I have not received my first Julep box yet, but it is on the way!
