Basically, this is designed like a felt tip marker. The design is incredibly handy, and the product itself is very lightweight. As far as performance goes, I like keeping this in my purse for when I want to quickly touch up my cuticles. Now that it’s getting colder, my hands are more dry and need even more care than usual. I don’t like to carry something messy like a bottle of cuticle oil in my purse. The ELF pen dispenses the perfect amount to apply and go until I can get home to a heavy duty oil. It definitely makes me feel less self-conscious about my dry cuticles to apply this pen, and it helps me avoid the urge to pick at them.

You do need to be careful with the tip; I pushed mine in upon first use and it went right down inside of the tube. I pulled it out with tweezers and haven’t had any problems since.

This pen is only $1 and definitely worth it if you need a quick nail touch up while you’re out and about.
