Hello! Yesterday in my haul post I mentioned Rose Dawn, from Sephora + Pantone Universe. It’s a truly beautiful shade, as it is a metallic pink/rose gold color. It seems more pink than Essie Penny Talk. I paired it with a Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish strip in Queen Cobra.
Rose Dawn is a metallic polish that goes on smoothly, and it is also very opaque (in one coat!). I did find that this polish was so smooth it tended to slide all over the nail, so be careful with it. This polish is a fast-moving potential mess on the brush, so don’t go crazy dunking it in the bottle!
Ultimately, I think this is going to be a beautiful base for some of the glitters I have. I love glitter over metallics; one of my favorite combinations!
