Hare Polish Dog Day Dream

dog

I don’t even know where to begin with this polish! WOW! I first read about Dog Day Dream on Holly’s blog (check out her post on this polish!!!) and thought it was gorgeous. As someone who loves anything pink, this always stayed on my radar. Awhile back when Hare Polish was restocked on Llarowe, I finally got this one! Since I have three dogs, the name also makes it great to me.

Dog Day Dream is a majorly glowy raspberry jelly polish, with several types of glitter, including hexes and circles. Despite being packed full of glitter, I didn’t have any problems with application, as this has a great formula! This is just two coats. I’m crazy about the raspberry shade when it comes to nail polish. Even when I bit my nails, I wore raspberry shades throughout high school.

If you can get your hands on this one, I highly recommend it! 🙂

Hare Polish Hooky at the Hamlet

HH

Hooky at the Hamlet is a gorgeous green, glittered, jelly polish from the indie brand Hare Polish. I am a sucker for anything with white glitter, so this polish was a must have for me after I saw swatches of it on Temptalia.

I did not use a base color, and with two coats you can still see some visible nail line. I don’t mind this, because I used to be a biter, and a nail line is major progress! Hooky at the Hamlet is from the spring collection entitled The Last Queen of France (based on Marie Antoinette).

This polish is a little thick, but nothing impossible to work with. The glitters didn’t require any extra moving around and went on easily.

The color of this polish is amazing! It really glows on the nail. I got mine from Llarowe for $11, but it is currently sold up. If you sign up for emails from Llarowe, they will send you an email when a brand is going to be restocked.

Hare Polish – Oceans of Alloys

HARE11

I’m so excited to share my first Hare polish swatch! Hare polish is an indie brand that I first heard about from Holly’s fantastic blog. When the polish was finally restocked on Llarowe, I made my first Hare polish purchases, including this one, Oceans of Alloys.

hare3

Oceans of Alloys is a light blue polish with gold and copper glitter squares, plus some smaller transparent/glowy glitter, making this polish pretty much amazing. This polish is packed with glitter, but easy to apply. It is opaque in two coats. I used one coat of Out the Door top coat and my nails are very smooth, without bumpy glitter.

The way this looks on the nails is amazing. The glitter appears to be ‘floating’ in the blue base. I’m definitely impressed with this brand so far and can’t wait to show off the other shades I picked out. 🙂

And thank you to Holly for introducing me to this brand! If you haven’t checked out her blog, you definitely should. She’s also having a giveaway right now to celebrate her blogging success, which is open until February 6th. 🙂
